3. Proposals, scope, and changes
Project scope, deliverables, timelines, and revision expectations will be described in a proposal, written agreement, or project confirmation. Changes requested after approval may affect cost and schedule and will be handled as agreed in writing.
- Scope is limited to agreed deliverables and materials listed in the proposal/confirmation.
- Additional deliverables or major creative changes may require a supplemental proposal.
- Client approvals are typically required at key production milestones.
4. Client responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information and necessary permissions for your project, including rights for any content or materials you share (for example: brand assets, music, logos, photographs, and footage you own or are authorized to use).
- Ensure you have the rights/consents required to use and distribute project materials.
- Provide timely feedback and approvals to keep your production on schedule.
- Confirm locations, access requirements, and any applicable filming restrictions.
5. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Skylume grants you the rights necessary to use the final deliverables for your intended purpose after full payment. Skylume retains ownership of its underlying tools, workflows, templates, and pre-existing materials (if any).
- Any client-provided materials remain the property of the client (subject to permissions granted).
- Background music and third-party assets may require licenses purchased or provided by you.
- For commercial resale or redistribution beyond the agreed use, you may need a separate written license.
6. Revisions
Revision rounds (and any deadlines) will be specified in the proposal. Revisions are typically performed based on approved structure and materials. Requests outside the agreed revision scope may be treated as additional work.
7. Payments, deposits, and refunds
Pricing will be set in the proposal or project confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, production may require a deposit or milestone-based payments. Refunds (if any) depend on work completed and non-refundable expenses, and will be described in your proposal.
If schedules change due to client-side delays or changes in scope, additional charges may apply.
8. Confidentiality
Unless required by law, Skylume and you agree to treat non-public project information as confidential. Skylume may use approved final deliverables as part of its portfolio, subject to any client requests or restrictions agreed in writing.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Skylume will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim related to the services will be limited to the fees paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
This limitation does not exclude liability for matters that cannot be limited under applicable law.
